Senior/Chartered Accountant
K2 Accountancy Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a senior member of staff to join our excellent team of accountancy professionals as a Senior/Chartered Accountant.
Located at our Grantham office, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in practice as well as experience in reviewing the work of team members. They will be well-versed in preparing year end accounts and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. A thorough understanding of personal and business tax is essential for this position.
Role Responsibilities:
- Preparation of accounts and tax computations from client records for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Assisting clients with their financial records using SAGE and IRIS accounting software.
- Playing an integral role in our client service team, responding to client queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensuring a working knowledge of Making Tax Digital and aiding customers as we prep them for the upcoming changes.
- Training and mentoring junior members of the team.
Candidate Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA finalist, recently qualified or fully qualified with post-qualification experience.
- Experience of preparing accounts and related business tax computations.
- 3+ years practice experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving license

Experienced Bookkeeper
K2 Accountancy Group Ltd has a great opportunity to join our first-class accountancy team. This is a full-time role (although we may consider part time for the right candidate). The role will be based both at our Nottingham office as well as at the offices of our prestigious clients when required.
Reporting to our Management Accounts team, the successful applicant will be experienced in bookkeeping and have a can-do attitude, working efficiently to strict deadlines.
Role Responsibilities:
- Keying of sales invoices using SAGE and IRIS accounting software.
- Payroll.
- Expense claims.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Credit control.
- Miscellaneous bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
Candidate Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, Office 365.
- Confident and respectful with clients
- Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.
- Experience or training in a similar role (12 months preferable).
- Ability to work well as part of a team and autonomously.
